Costa Rica is world-renowned as class III-IV tropical playground.  Rivers like the Pacuare, Reventazon and the General are world reknowned classic paddling destinations.  Many of the rivers on our tours originate in the rain or cloud forest.  During the rainy season occassional floods and high water can rearrange rapids - even if you have been paddling here before a trip down Costa Rica's rivers is a new experience every season.

DAY 1 - Arrive in San Jose, transfer airport-hotel. Overnight in San Jose.
DAY 2 - On our fi rst day we head to the Rio Sarapiqui There’s no better warm-up with warm water, play spots and stunning scenery. Hotel (B,L,D)
DAY 3 - Time to check out the Rio Pejibaye. This little gem is easy creekin’ dream. This run starts off with a bang, followed by fun moves, play spots and a beautiful jungle conopy.. Hotel (B,L,D)
DAY 4 - The Pacuare River will guarantee one of the most breathtaking tropical rainforest experiences. Paddle this whitewater utopia far removed from civilization’s rush and live it’s heart-pounding excitement. Overnight at Rios Tropicales Lodge - hot showers in the middle of the jungle! (B,L,D)
DAY 5 - Paddle into the Pacuare gorge past gushing waterfalls, serene pools and pounding rapids. Upper and Lower Huacas, Cimarron, Dos Montañas and many more will have you cheering ecstatically. A short drive from the take-out to our Operations Center for an exquisite hot lunch, showers, changing rooms, cold and hot drinks. Hotel (B,L,D)
DAY 6 - Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach with your kayak, good beer, and friends. Hotel (B,L,D)
DAY 7 - Start the day with a visit to the local serpentarium - a real trip! If you are ready for BIG water, the Pascua section of the Reventazón will challenge the most adventurous spirit with nonstop Class IV rapids. Turrialtico Lodge in Turrialba. (B,L,D)
DAY 8 - This day is reserved to fi nd the “best water of the week”. Return to San Jose on DAY 8 for farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel. (B,L,D)
DAY 9 - Transfer Hotel - Airport (B)
