Snowshoeing in Colorado - Snowshoe Clinics

$55/person

Expand your horizons and learn another way to enjoy our snow-covered state with the RA Guides’ talented and experienced staff. The first evening’s two hour clinic is at the RA Guides office. We will cover snowshoeing topics such as proper dressing, hydration, caloric intake, orientation, route finding, use of GPS, avalanche awareness and a history of the sport. (If you are unable to attend our evening snowshoeing session, please call us and we will work on accommodating your schedule) The second date culminates with a full day testing your new skills in the spectacular setting of Rocky Mountain National Park! Enjoy a beautiful day snowshoeing in Colorado!

Gear Rental Package: $10.00/day (includes: snowshoes, poles and gaiters)

Snowshoe dates: 1st night classroom at various locations from 7-9pm, 2nd day 9am meeting at Rocky Mountain National Park for your day on the snow.
